Personal Goodbyes 

 We understand that not everyone wishes to use the services of a traditional funeral director. The desire for more personal and family led goodbyes is growing, and we are finding that there is a great demand for personalised family services. 

Therefore, we provide simple, personalised, funeral services to meet family needs. However, if a traditional funeral service meets your requirements, we will gladly provide a list of traditional funeral directors. 

However, for those who require a simple, personalised goodbye, without a traditional funeral director, we pride ourselves on being able to arrange and conduct extremely personal, cost-effective funeral services. 

The Personal Goodbyes Service 

• All arrangements and administration, including all local meetings, visits as required, support before, during and after the service. 

• Removal of the person who has died within office hours from a location within 30 miles of any of our burial grounds (additional mileage charges may apply if the person died outside of this area). 

• Care of the person who has died in hygienic conditions (for up to three weeks) until the day of the funeral service, including dressing in own environmentally friendly clothing if required. 

• A Jute Coffin. 

• A visit to the Chapel of Rest within working hours by appointment. 

• Transport by discreet vehicle (adapted estate car or private ambulance) to the service location. 

• Help and support of our team throughout the arrangements and on the day of the service. 

Also included in Natural Burial Services only 

• A graveside service at the natural burial ground. Provision of a Bluetooth Speaker for playing music. 

• Complimentary simple refreshments are provided upon request – tea, coffee, and squash. 

Also included in Cremation Services only 

• The planting of 3 trees to help mitigate the environmental impact of cremation 

The cost of the above services is £1,820 (Exclusive of Burial/Cremation Fees and additional costs). 

Additional Costs 

Out of hours removal of the person who has died £195. 

Shelter and up to 30 chairs (including team presence to support picnic up to 5.30pm if required) £350. 

Services after 5.30pm and/or torchlit services Price on Application. 

Additional charge for Saturday Service £250. 

Additional charge for visiting the Chapel of Rest by appointment on a Saturday £50. 

Additional charge for service in other location prior to interment £170 (exclusive of venue costs). 

We can provide a list of known and trusted Celebrants if you wish. The cost is typically £220 – £250.
